About
Engineer by training, risk modeller by choice

I work where machine learning meets credit risk. Today I am SVP, Credit Reinsurance AI at Marsh Re in London, leading data and AI for the Credit, Bond and Political Risk specialty.
I trained as a civil engineer at NIT Warangal, which turned out to be good preparation: both disciplines are about understanding how structures behave under stress. I moved into data science in 2016 at Wipro in Bangalore, built forecasting and AI for global clients, then spent five years at Swiss Re in London leading data and AI for Credit & Surety.
What I care about most is models people actually use. Explainable enough for an underwriter, rigorous enough for a regulator, and fast enough to change a decision. Outside work I build independent tools, like the Credit & Surety Pricing Engine, to test ideas end to end.

Beyond the models
Mountains
Brahmatal, Chandrashila, the Swiss Alps. Summits have a way of clarifying things.
Geopolitics
Trade routes, sovereign risk, the Strait of Hormuz. The macro shapes the model.
Teaching
Guest lecturer at SCMHRD, Symbiosis, Pune, and a regular speaker at industry events.
Storytelling
From Davos to DataJam: an insight only lands if the story does.
A novel series in progress, Spanish lessons, Vinland Saga, skating, cycling, biryani and an open invitation to coffee: the personal side, off the clock.
